Alinia AI, a startup co-founded by Ariadna Font Llitjós and Carlos Muñoz Ferrandis, has secured $2.4 million in pre-seed funding to develop its alignment platform, which enables companies to safely and controlled deploy generative AI, guided by their policies and business. The platform aims to address the challenges of managing control and safety in the face of risks to prevent inappropriate or brand-damaging content, as well as navigating upcoming regulatory efforts. The founders, with their impressive backgrounds in responsible AI, governance, and regulatory affairs, are well-positioned to tackle the alignment problem in the generative AI space. The funding will be used to build an end-to-end alignment process focused on safety and regulatory requirements, enabling safe and inclusive use of generative AI across LLM modalities and languages.
