The latest Prosumer Report by BETC Havas has shed light on the public’s perception of generative AI and its potential impact on our daily lives. The report, which surveyed over 14,000 respondents across 32 markets, reveals that an overwhelming majority of people believe that gen AI will change everything, with 97% of Prosumers and 90% of mainstream respondents agreeing on its revolutionary potential. While there are concerns about job security, with 72% of Prosumers believing AI mastery will be crucial for job security, most people are excited about the benefits of gen AI, with 85% of Prosumers and 65% of mainstream respondents having used gen AI tools. The report also explores how people think gen AI will impact various aspects of society, including education, safety, and healthcare. In my opinion, the findings of this report are both fascinating and reassuring, as they suggest that people are open to embracing the benefits of gen AI while acknowledging its potential risks.
