The adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being hindered by significant data quality issues, with 72% of enterprises reporting difficulties in scaling their data practices. A recent study by F5 reveals that despite the enthusiasm for AI, many organizations are struggling to implement it due to inadequate data infrastructure. The report highlights that 75% of enterprises are implementing AI, but a staggering 72% are facing significant data quality issues, and an inability to scale their data practices. This oversight is not only diminishing the effectiveness of their AI solutions but also exposing them to a multitude of security threats.

The study also reveals that cybersecurity is a principal concern for those tasked with delivering AI services, with factors such as AI-powered attacks, data privacy, data leakage, and increased liability ranking among the top AI security concerns. The report suggests that organizations need to focus on building a solid foundation, including a single source of truth for their data, to overcome the challenges of AI adoption.
