The report reveals that a staggering 88% of respondents believe automation is critical for tackling staff shortages, while 44% plan to implement automation for workflow prioritization in the next three years. Moreover, 82% of healthcare leaders acknowledge the positive impact of virtual care on easing staff shortages, with 40% using it to expand special services to underserved communities. The report also highlights the potential of data-driven insights to reduce health disparities, with 96% of respondents recognizing their potential. However, concerns about data bias in AI widening health disparities are also voiced by 79% of healthcare leaders. This report serves as a clarion call for healthcare providers to harness the power of technology to drive meaningful change.
