He predicted that ASI will arrive in 10 years, while artificial general intelligence (AGI), which is one to 10 times smarter than humans, will emerge in the next three to five years. Son’s ambitious claims come as a surprise, given SoftBank’s recent struggles with startup investments. However, his vision for ASI could revolutionize the way humans live and work.
