Evolving from the Data Science Center, the new AI Center leverages Michigan Tech’s strengths in engineering and computing to foster innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and educational excellence. With a robust team of 30 faculty members and $12.8 million in research projects, the center is a hub for interdisciplinary AI research initiatives, promoting ethical and trustworthy AI development. It offers cutting-edge educational programs and professional activities to ensure a well-prepared and knowledgeable workforce in the AI domain.
