As the world grapples with the impact of artificial intelligence on the job market, research by the World Economic Forum suggests that despite AI taking over 85 million jobs, it will also create 97 million new ones by 2025. While administrative and secretarial roles are on the decline, new AI-related jobs such as digital marketing, software development, and data science are emerging and spiking in demand. The Forum lists 10 roles that are surging in growth, including data analysts, AI and machine learning specialists, and digital transformation specialists. Additionally, FlexJobs has identified the top five in-demand AI jobs, including AI research scientists, artificial intelligence engineers, and machine learning engineers, which pay a minimum of $100,000 a year and can be performed remotely. These new jobs require skills in areas such as applied mathematics, machine learning, and programming, and offer not only financial rewards but also a sense of accomplishment and pride in contributing to groundbreaking developments and inventions.
