Gujarat has taken a significant step towards embracing the future of technology by partnering with IBM to establish an AI Cluster in Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) City. This collaboration aims to foster innovation and collaboration among financial institutions, providing them with access to AI Sandbox, proof of concept assistance, AI Literacy programs, and Digital Assistant Solutions. The MoU also enables financial institutions to customize and fine-tune large language AI models in a sandbox environment, facilitating their onboarding and integration. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel believes this partnership will help the state lead the country in AI adoption and drive digital transformation. IBM will also develop an AI curriculum for schools and universities across Gujarat, aligning with its commitment to skill 30 million people by 2030 and train 2 million learners in AI by 2026. This initiative is a strategic priority for enterprises to gain a competitive advantage through better productivity, innovation, and customer experience. In my opinion, this partnership has the potential to revolutionize the financial sector in Gujarat, making it a hub for AI-driven innovation and growth.
