Apple’s AI ambitions extend far beyond the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, as the tech giant plans to integrate its Apple Intelligence features into the Vision Pro headsets. Apple Intelligence, which includes enhancements like an improved Siri, proofreading tools, and custom emojis, is pivotal to the company’s future. Therefore, it makes sense for Apple to bring these capabilities to all its advanced devices, including the Vision Pro. However, Vision Pro’s current high price tag and limited user base pose challenges. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple Intelligence won’t be available on the Vision Pro this year. The main hurdle involves adapting these features for a mixed reality environment rather than traditional screens. Additionally, Apple is enhancing the in-store demo experience for the Vision Pro, allowing potential buyers to view personal media and switching to a more comfortable Dual Loop headband. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also reports that Apple plans to mass-produce AirPods with infrared cameras by 2026, potentially offering new spatial audio experiences and gesture controls when paired with the Vision Pro.
