Samsung Electronics America is launching an AI-driven feature known as the Samsung AI Class Assistant for its WAD series of interactive displays. This innovative tool, set to be available later this year, incorporates several state-of-the-art functionalities that aim to enhance the educational experience. The displays, available in 65-, 75-, and 86-inch models, run on Android 13 and boast Google EDLA certification, ensuring seamless integration with Google services like Google Classroom and Drive. Key features of the AI Class Assistant include automatic transcription and summarization of lessons, AI-generated quizzes, and advanced voice recognition capabilities powered by Merlyn Mind. These functionalities enable effortless sharing of lesson materials, interactive quizzes, and voice command operations. The WAD series also supports multitasking with multiple screen modes, screen mirroring for up to nine devices, and multi-point touch for collaborative activities. Additionally, the displays offer enhanced connectivity options, including a 3-in-1 USB-C port and HDMI-Out, and are designed with eye care and durability in mind, making them an ideal solution for modern educational environments.
