ElevenLabs, the innovative AI voice startup, has introduced a new tool called AI Voice Isolator. This tool helps creators remove unwanted ambient noise from their content, whether it be a film, podcast, or YouTube video. The Voice Isolator is available for free on the ElevenLabs platform, with some usage limits. Though not an entirely unique offering, it aims to stand out in its effectiveness compared to competitors like Adobe. The tool works in post-production by processing uploaded content to isolate clear speech and remove background noise. In tests, it successfully eliminated various noises such as door sounds, clapping, and household item movements, though it struggled with wall banging and finger snapping. The company, however, hasn’t disclosed specifics about the underlying models or data usage for training. ElevenLabs plans to offer API access soon and currently provides limited free usage, with paid plans starting at $5 per month for more extensive needs.
