Introducing AI to Government Employees
New Jersey has launched a groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) training course for state government workers. This free course, titled “Responsible AI for Public Professionals: Using Generative AI at Work,” aims to familiarize public sector professionals with generative AI (GenAI) and its potential applications in government. Developed by InnovateUS, a nonprofit initiative from Northeastern University’s Burnes Center for Social Change, and The Governance Lab (GovLab), the course responds to a pressing need for AI education among public servants.
