The lack of foreign participation is reminiscent of other tech trade shows in China, underscoring Washington’s push for technological decoupling. Amidst the limited foreign presence, Chinese exhibitors showcased their latest electric vehicles, robots, and large language models, while the US ramps up efforts to curb China’s access to advanced chips and AI technologies.
