The University of North Texas Libraries has launched the Artificial Intelligence Policy Collection, a comprehensive repository of over 120 resources on the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning in government, legislative, and procedural policy. This collection is a valuable resource for policymakers, researchers, and scholars, providing access to official government reports, policy implementation frameworks, procedural guidelines, and research summaries. The collection features publications from city and state governments, international government agencies, federal agencies, non-governmental agencies, and private research institutes, offering a diverse range of perspectives on AI and ML implementation. The collection is expected to grow over time, with new publications being added as they become available. This initiative demonstrates the library’s commitment to providing relevant and timely resources to its users, and its role in shaping the AI landscape on campus and beyond. Mark Phillips, Associate Dean for Digital Libraries, notes that this collection is a natural extension of the library’s mission to identify, collect, and describe materials for its users.
