Despite 75% of businesses implementing AI, 72% of them report data quality issues, and 53% lack the necessary AI and data skillsets. The report highlights the importance of a solid foundation in data management and security for the successful adoption and optimization of AI. The enthusiasm for generative AI is palpable, with 24% of organizations having implemented it at scale, but the most common use cases are often less strategic functions such as copilots and customer service tools. The main concerns for scaling AI-based applications include the cost of compute, model security, and performance, with cybersecurity being a principal concern. To address these concerns, enterprise leaders expect to spend 44% more on security over the next few years.
