AI Takes Center Stage at Yavapai College
Yavapai College is making a bold move by incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its curriculum. The college’s School of Computer Science, in collaboration with Intel, is launching an AI course as part of a revamped two-year Associate of Arts & Sciences Degree. This initiative aims to align students’ skills with the evolving demands of the modern workplace.
Key Details of the AI Course
- The course, titled “Understanding Artificial Intelligence” (CSA 250), is a three-credit offering.
- It utilizes Intel’s AI for Workforce platform to teach AI fundamentals.
- Students will learn about AI applications, ethics, biases, and professional expectations.
- The course is part of a comprehensive 60-credit AAS degree program in Computer Systems Management.
